Driving directions and map to the Studio
FAQ for travel to and from the studio
Please use these directions to my studio rather than generic Google directions or GPS directions. I have adjusted these driving directions to reflect construction. THE PALOU GATE IS CLOSED. Directions with Palou or Crisp Avenue will be incorrect.
Please note: Google search has two listings for my studio. One is incorrect. Disregard 601 Van Ness Avenue address. The Studio is located at the intersection of GALVEZ AND HORN AVENUE.
From East Bay Cross Bay Bridge and continue on 101. Exit at Cesar Chavez East (Army St. East); turn right on Evans St. Stay on Evans for 2 miles; it changes name to Innes St. Bear left toward water. Link to driving directions
From Marin County Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and take the 101 South. Bear left and follow signs for Marina. Continue on Doyle Drive past Marina Green. Turn right on Laguna at the Safeway store. Turn left immediately on Bay. Follow Bay Street to the Embarcadero. Turn right on The Embarcadero. Continue onto King Street. Turn left on Third. Go 2.5 miles and turn left on Evans. Evans changes names to Innes St. Bear left toward water. Link to driving directions
From South Bay Take 280 heading north. Stay on 280 and exit Cesar Chavez St. (Army St.). Turn right off the ramp, then right at light onto Third. Turn left onto Evans, it changes name to Innes St. Bear left toward water. Link to driving directions
From San Francisco From Third St. heading south, follow Third St. and go past Cesar Chavez St. Turn left at Evans St. Follow Evans for 2 miles. Remember to bear left toward the water at all times.
Not all streets are clearly marked. You will see these landmarks along the way: Bayview Plaza at the corner of Third and Evans Streets. You will pass the Main Post Office on your left on Evans. Further along the road will make a slight right as it turns into Hunter's Point Blvd. You will pass a park on the left hand side and a grocery store as the road turns into Innes. There will be some three story condo buildings on your left before Innes deadends.
When Innes deadends, turn left and continue past the construction trailers to the Guard Car. Check in with the guard and proceed on the main road. You will see Building 110 on your right. Immediately past that is a road with a "Gallery" sign on it. Turn right there. Building 101 is the very large building on your left. Go to the Main Entrance at the Flagpole (with the circular driveway). My studio is upstairs. Turn left at the top of the stairs and then take your first right. I'm at the end of the hall. Look for the bright pink and red signs with my name.
